This will be the 100th year the Florida State Beekeepers will have a booth to raise funds for the organizarion.
FSBA will need volunteers to help….and we encourage all PBA to volunteer.

THE STATE FAIR IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO MEET MANY, WHO MAY ALREADY KNOW ABOUT AND BE INTERESTED IN HONEYBEES, OR BEEKEEPING, OR MAY BE LEARNING ABOUT IT FOR THE FIRST TIME, FROM YOU! AS AN ORGANIZATION, IT IS A GREAT FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY FOR US, AS WE SELL HONEY. THIS YEAR, WE WILL HAVE 2 BOOTHS. ONE IN THE AG HALL OF FAME, AND ONE IN THE MAIN EXPO BUILDING.

ENTER A JAR (OR MORE) OF YOUR AND YOUR BEES BEST HONEY, AND COMPETE FOR BEST TASTING HONEY IN THIS YEARS STATE FAIR. BRING HONEY IN A 1 POUND JAR WITH BLACK TAPE AROUND THE JAR, BY 6PM ON 2/13 TO THE AG HALL OF FAME BUILDING, FSBA BOOTH. PEOPLE’S CHOICE JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE ON 2/14, AND WINNERS RIBBONS WILL BE ON DISPLAY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FAIR UNTIL YOU PICK UP ON SUNDAY 2/18. GOOD LUCK!

Florida Agriculture Hall of Fame Showcase
Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, (President’s Day); 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The Ag Showcase Building is a presentation of Florida’s wide variety of agriculture products. Students can learn about Florida strawberries, citrus, bees, poultry, beef cattle, watermelons and more.
